(NLL) - Toronto Rock forward Garrett Billings was named the NLLs player of the month for February on Thursday. In five games last month, Billings led all scorers with 11 goals, 27 assists and 38 points as the Rock posted a 2-3 record. At home against Philadelphia, the Langley, BC native had a season high 12 points (six goals, six assists) in a 20-10 win over the Wings. "Our offensive group had some success last month," said Billings. Licht has been with the Cardinals for the past two seasons, the last one as vice-president of player personnel. "Jason is a seasoned NFL personnel veteran who has worked with some of the most accomplished individuals in professional football while contributing to success in New England, Philadelphia and Arizona," Bucs co-chairman Joel Glazer said. "His strong player personnel background provides the ideal complement to Lovie Smiths philosophy as our head coach," Glazer added.
